The Benito Leaf-nosed Bat has separated records from West to East Africa. A Cameroon study found it across several forest settings.
The six bats captured in Cameroon had forearm lengths of 42–44 mm.
It was recorded at four forest sites in Cameroon, including intact primary forest as well as disturbed and secondary forest.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
