Przewalski's jird is a small rodent of northwestern China's dunes. It has sandy fur on its back, a white underside, and digs burrows in the ground.
Its back is sandy to pale yellow, while the underside is white. Its ears are short, and the soles of its hind feet are covered in hair.
It lives on the ground and digs simple burrows in semi-permanent dunes with dense shrubs or dunes near wooded areas.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
