The Visayan Fantail is a resident fantail of the central Philippines. It occurs in forest and semi-open habitats, and molecular taxonomic work treats it as a distinct species.
It is a small, slender bird with a long tail that can be fanned. The underside is pale; head and tail markings help distinguish it from related fantails.
It feeds on invertebrates and is active by day. Records place it in forest and semi-open habitats.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
