Adult males have small eyes with round pupils. Adult males have fine granular dorsal scales mixed with enlarged, strongly keeled, conical tubercles, and spine-like scales on the flanks. Adult males have moderately long and slender forelimbs and hindlimbs. It is recorded on old mossy walls and tree trunks in moist evergreen forest. Individuals were observed active by day below 2 m above ground, and resting at night on mossy walls and roadside cement culverts. It is recorded around Nallathambi Resort at Semmedu in the Kolli Hills, Tamil Nadu, India.
