This brown bat is recorded on islands in the Seychelles. HMW reports small groups roosting in enclosed attics of public buildings.
The dorsal fur is short and brown; the underside is medium brown. There is no white flank stripe. HMW also records at least five to seven wrinkles on each side of the upper lip, medium-brown ears and wings, and a dark-brown tail membrane.
HMW records human settlements up to about 400 m and small colonies roosting in enclosed attics of public buildings. Both maternity colonies and mixed-sex groups have been observed.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
