The Cyprus Warbler is endemic to Cyprus. The male has dark plumage and pale facial markings, and part of the population migrates away from the island in autumn.
The male has a dark head and back, a red-orange eye, a white eye-ring, and a white moustache-like mark. Wear and season affect how visible the black chevrons on the breast are; the female is browner.
It is usually seen alone or in pairs. Some birds in Cyprus migrate to Israel in autumn.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
