The Micronesian Starling occurs on islands of the Mariana and Caroline archipelagos. The Guam subspecies is a cavity-nesting bird that feeds mainly on fruit.
Adult birds on Guam are black with green iridescence on most contour feathers, except the belly and vent. The thick, slightly down-curved bill is also black.
On Guam it breeds year-round and nests in cavities, including holes in buildings. It eats mainly fruit, along with arthropods and small vertebrates, and disperses seeds.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
