The Buffy-headed Marmoset is a small monkey with white tufts flaring from the sides of its head. It lives in southeastern Brazil and feeds on tree gum and other foods.
White tufts flare horizontally from the sides of its head, and most of its face is pale except around the eyes and nose. Its tail has alternating dark and light bands.
It is active by day in social groups, gnawing bark to reach tree exudates and also eating insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
