A small marsupial known from the Cordillera del Condor in Ecuador. Very few specimens have been captured and described.
Its body is gray-brown, with a browner underside, a pink nose, and white whiskers.
The confirmed area is a very wet montane and subtropical forest, where it is thought to stay near low vegetation. Its food and activity patterns are not well known.
