This spider has a long abdomen and is distributed in the central Dominican Republic.
In the described male, the upper front-body plate is pale ochre-yellow to whitish, with a dark central line and a broader band visible through it.
It is typically found higher in vegetation, up to about 2 m above the ground.
In the 2005 collections, it was taken from domed webs among vegetation in riverine forest and in degraded forest along a brook through a plantation.
Its legs are light brown, with pale tips on the femora and tibiae and very indistinct dark rings just before the tips.
Its abdomen is bluish grey, with black spots forming two bands above that widen toward the rear.
Females have shorter abdomens and clearer dark leg rings than males. The number and strength of male leg spines vary among individuals.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
