The Galapagos Petrel breeds in the humid highlands of the Galapagos Islands and ranges widely over the sea to find food.
It has long wings and a white forehead, with a hooked bill and black webbed feet.
During breeding it nests in holes on highland slopes or in natural cavities, and both sexes incubate the egg.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
