Males have long cheliceral projections, and this spider is known from forests in Rwanda and northern Burundi.
In the one Burundi male whose colour was described, the upper front body is mainly brown with darker margins and large whitish marks beside the eye area.
It has been found in the Rugege and Karisimbi forests in Rwanda.
In July 2008, one male and one female were collected in forest with Hagenia abyssinica trees on Mt. Musumba, Burundi.
The same male has dark rings near the ends of the thigh and shin segments of the legs, followed by pale tips.
Its abdomen has an indistinct dorsal pattern and three dark lines behind the genital opening underneath, with the central line narrow.
Its sternum underneath the front body is dark brown. A barely visible pair of darker lines is present below the eyes.
Males have long projections on the chelicerae near the mouth.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
