The Cuban fig-eating bat is a medium-sized bat recorded in Cuba and on Hispaniola. It has white shoulder patches, while information about its food comes from only a few observations of fruit and seeds.
It has a white fur patch on each shoulder and another behind each ear. The account describes it as a medium-sized short-faced bat with a transparent membrane between the wing digits.
Diet information is sparse: seeds of Cecropia were found in two of three fecal samples, and one bat was captured carrying a fruit. Surveys have recorded activity from early evening to later at night.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
