The Chihuahuan Deermouse is a small rodent reported only from west-central Chihuahua, Mexico. A 2023 state-level mammal chapter says its ecology is poorly known and records are sparse.
Osgood's 1904 description calls the upper parts grayish-brown and notes white hind feet and ankles.
The Chihuahua review reports the species from conifer forest and thorn scrub but says its ecology and habits remain unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
