Adult males have heads wider than long. Adult males have glandular ridges on the sides of the head, the front and rear of the back, the upper and lower flanks, and between the eyes. Adult males have two palmar tubercles. It was found under leaf litter or vegetation on marshy ground close to a shallow rivulet in a disturbed forest patch adjacent to a tea estate. Males called at 10:00–12:00 during the day and 19:00–22:00 at night. It is recorded from Kadalar, Idukki district, Kerala, India.
