This white-eye occurs in southeastern Sulawesi. It uses habitats from lowland forest to farms and gardens, foraging in the understorey and canopy in pairs or small groups.
It has olive upperparts and a narrow white eye-ring broken at the front by a dark mark. The chin, throat, upper breast, and undertail-coverts are yellow; the rest of the underside is white, greyer on the flanks and lower breast. The sexes are similar.
It uses lowland forest, scrub, forest edges, cultivation, plantations, gardens, and village areas from sea level to 300 m. Pairs or small groups forage in understorey thickets or tall-tree canopies. Its diet is unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
