Known from Turkey, this amphipod has adult males with three projections along the back.
In adult males, each of three metasome segments bears a central projection.
In May 1959, ten specimens were collected from a spring near Kirsehir, Turkey.
Adult males have oval eyes.
On segments of the three posterior pairs of legs in adult males, short setae occur among spines along the front margins.
Dorsal setae vary in number in adults; in the examined Arsuz population, they were found only occasionally.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
