Known from southern Sulawesi, males of this spider lack projections on the distal part of the chelicerae.
In the described male, the upper plate of the front body is ochre-yellow with a light-brown pattern, and the eye region is also light brown.
On 9 August 1980, males and females were collected in a gorge in karst forest along the road from Makassar toward Camba.
Its legs are ochre-yellow with whitish ends on the femora and tibiae. The abdomen is ochre-gray, with light-brown marks along the middle of its upper side.
In the described male, the brown band below the abdomen is divided into front and rear portions. In another male and the described female, the band is constricted but remains connected.
In the described male, the eye groups stand on short stalks directed sideways. In the described female, there are no stalks and the eye groups are closer together.
Males lack projections on the distal part of the chelicerae.
