The Ticking Doradito breeds in central Chile and western Argentina, then moves north to Bolivia in winter.
It has brown upperparts and a mostly uniform yellow underside. Plumage alone does not separate it well from the similar Warbling Doradito; the distinction is mainly vocal.
It uses marshes, reedbeds, and riverside woodland, and feeds mainly on insects.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
