This spider has been found in forest litter in Tanzania’s West Usambara Mountains.
The described male has an ochre-yellow upper front body with a large brown mark. Its abdomen is grey with dark dorsal marks and a very indistinct broad ventral band.
In November 1995, males and females were collected by sifting forest litter at Mazumbai.
The male chelicerae have strong ridge-shaped distal projections, with frontal and lateral projections near the bases.
Female eye groups lie closer together than male eye groups. A dark internal arch is visible through the cuticle beneath the abdomen.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
