The Asian red-cheeked squirrel ranges from southern China across parts of northern South and Southeast Asia. It forages both on the ground and in trees.
Its back is gray-brown, with reddish fur on the cheeks and neck.
It uses both the ground and trees, searching for ripe fruit from low branches into the canopy.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
