The shell is strongly depressed to depressed. The sutures between shell whorls are impressed. The umbilicus is open. During dormancy it forms a calcareous epiphragm with a small perforation, limiting body-water evaporation while allowing respiratory gas exchange. It is recorded from a few limestone hills in Chumphon Province, Thailand.
