Mount Oku Lamottemys is a rodent known only from the montane forest of Mount Oku in Cameroon.
This medium-sized rat is brown-yellow above and below, with no stripe on its back. Its tail is about as long as its head and body combined.
It lives on the ground in montane forest. Green plant matter alone was found in one examined stomach, so that single sample does not establish its full diet.
