A raccoon relative with a long ringed tail that climbs nimbly over rocks.
Its bushy tail has black and white rings. It has a fox-like face and large oval ears.
It is mainly active at night and climbs rock faces and narrow crevices with agility. It eats small mammals, insects and fruit among other foods.
