The Nuthatch Vanga is a small Madagascar endemic that searches for insects while climbing up tree trunks.
Adult males are mostly blue, with a pale buff area on the underside. They have black markings on the head and a coral-red bill.
It eats insects, worms, and some small vertebrates, searching as it climbs up trunks and branches. It does not climb sideways or downwards.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
