The Bornean yellow muntjac is a small deer with yellow-orange fur that lives in the forests and low hills of Borneo.
Its fur is yellow-orange, with a darker stripe along the back fading toward the pale belly. Males have short antlers and outward-curving upper canines; females have small bony knobs instead of antlers.
It is mainly active by day and eats leaves, fruit, shoots, grasses, and seeds. It has been seen alone or in male-female pairs, and it is reported to give a bark-like call when alarmed.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
