The Mozambican horseshoe bat is a small horseshoe bat recorded at six sites in Mozambique and northwestern Zimbabwe. The authors infer a lowland savanna distribution but say more records are needed to establish its full range.
Its back is gray-brown and the underside is the same color or slightly paler. A broad horseshoe-shaped noseleaf covers the muzzle.
The paper's records were all below 500 m, and the authors inferred a lowland savanna distribution. They noted that additional records were needed to establish the full range.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
