The body is flattened and oval, sometimes with low bumps. The left and right side flaps are joined, and the translucent body has variable pink, brown, white, and green patches or spots; some individuals have white lengthwise lines. It occurs on Thalassia and Halodule seagrasses, where it is highly cryptic.
