Boyer’s Cuckooshrike lives in forests of New Guinea. It occurs in moist lowland forest and mangroves, and compiled diet data classify it as frugivorous.
It is about 22 cm long, with a blue-gray body, paler crown, and buff wing lining. Males have a dark face; females have a paler gray face and crown.
Compiled data characterize it as a fruit-eater of forest and lowland habitat. A regional Papua guide records it in lowland and lower-montane rainforest up to about 1,100 m in Mimika.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
