Known from Luzon, this spider has projections bearing dense hair brushes between the male eye groups.
Males have horn-like projections with hair brushes between the eye groups. Females lack these projections around the eyes.
On 29 September 1945, a male was collected in tropical rainforest on Mt Maquiling.
Its more slender abdomen distinguishes it from the very similar Pholcus pagbilao.
In the described male, long hairs are also denser than usual at the back of the eye region.
In the examined females, the two eye groups are closer together than in the male.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
