Misonne's Praomys is a forest rodent described from specimens in Central Africa. Its coat varies with age, and the original species paper says that habitat preferences were not known.
In the Irangi specimens, the belly was grayish and young animals had dark-gray backs. The backs of older animals were more rufous.
The authors collected this species in tropical rainforest at 850 m and reported fewer animals than P. jacksoni at the same sites. They also stated that its habitat preferences were unknown.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
