A survey on Mt. Paektu in North Korea recorded one individual with large, red-pigmented teeth. Its appearance and habitat are described only from this single specimen.
The collected individual had large teeth with extensive red pigmentation. Its molars were especially large, and its single-cusped teeth were stout and blunt.
The individual was collected at a site surrounded by streams where Korean larch was the main vegetation.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
