The white-tailed dunnart is a small marsupial of semi-arid southwestern Western Australia. Stomach contents suggest it feeds mainly on insects, spiders, and other invertebrates.
Its back is pale fawn with dark-tipped hairs, while the underside is cream. The white tail has a thin dark line above; the rear edge of each ear is notched, and the pads of the feet are finely granulated.
Stomach contents from eight specimens suggest an opportunistic diet, mainly arthropods and arachnids. Recorded foods include moths, ants, beetles, and spiders.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
