A forest woodcreeper that moves along trunks and branches, with a buff throat and long streaks below.
Fine streaks mark the head and mantle; the buff throat continues as long buffy streaks below. The bill is long, thick, straight, and light gray.
It forages along trunks and branches in the understory and sometimes follows army-ant swarms, moving into the midstory or canopy to feed.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
