The pygmy three-toed sloth is a small sloth from an island off Panama. It lives in coastal red mangroves, and its long head and shoulder fur can look like a hood.
Its face is pale, with dark rings around the eyes. Long, bushy hair on the head and shoulders gives it a hooded appearance.
It spends most of its time alone in trees and eats leaves. It can also walk on the ground and swim.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
