The Cloud Forest Akodont is a mouse from high forests of the eastern Peruvian Andes. It has grayish fur, and observations at Manu report a diet consisting mostly of arthropod larvae.
The species account describes smoky to olive-gray fur above, a slightly paler underside, short ears, and a slender brown tail.
It inhabits upper elfin forests of the eastern Andes. At Manu, it was found among dense moss mats and reported to feed mainly on arthropod larvae.
