The Andaman Boobook is a nocturnal owl that lives in forest on the Andaman Islands. It has a dark brown body with streaking below.
It is a compact brown owl with pale streaks on the chest and belly and bars on the tail.
It is active at night and uses forest cover. This secretive owl can be difficult to spot.
