The male holotype has a red-brown carapace with lighter patches running radially down the sides of the caput, and a grey abdomen. The authors say the colour may have faded during preservation. The male holotype was caught in a pitfall trap at the edge of a Callitris stand. One male paratype was collected in a gutter trap at Callitris. It is recorded from the Upper Warrego region of Carnarvon Station Reserve, in the Brigalow Belt South bioregion of central Queensland.
