This millipede is recorded from New Dabaga/Ulangambi Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a long, slightly curved dorsal spine and a well-developed triangular ventral spine.
The collection records from New Dabaga/Ulangambi treated in the report are summarized as montane forest.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has long triangular lobes with rounded tips, about twice as long as wide.
In these males, a slender posterior lamella of the gonopod telomere divides into a long spine directed toward the tip and a forward-directed lobe with a spinose edge.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
