Living specimens are greenish-white. Males have a prominent projection on the head. There are nineteen to twenty ommatidia arranged in two or three rows. It is recorded from Ky Rang Cave in Quoc Toan, Quang Hoa District, Cao Bang Province, Vietnam. It is known from Ky Rang Cave in Cao Bang Province, northern Vietnam.
