The Malayan tailless leaf-nosed bat has records from the Malay Peninsula and northwestern Borneo, and has been reported roosting in caves and hollows of large trees.
This very small bat has long, soft fur. Its back is brown to blackish and its underside is ashy; it has no tail.
Reports place its roosts in caves and hollowed buttresses of large trees in primary lowland forest. The type specimen was collected from a young, rolled wild-banana leaf.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
