Males have large, rather flat cheliceral projections, and this spider has been found in forest in Kenya’s Taita Hills.
The male chelicerae have large, rather flat frontal projections, each accompanied by one large modified hair.
It has been found in Ngangao and Macha forests.
In January 2010, many males and females were collected beneath large rocks at Macha Forest.
The described male has a pale ochre upper front body with a large dark posterior mark. Internal dark marks are visible through the dorsal and lateral abdominal cuticle.
In most females, the ventral abdominal band is divided, but in a few it is undivided or only partly divided.
