This millipede is recorded from New Dabaga/Ulangambi Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the single alcohol-preserved adult male examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a small dorsal denticle and a very small ventral denticle.
The single examined male was collected at New Dabaga/Ulangambi on 15–16 November 2000; the report identifies its habitat as montane forest.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in this male, the limbus has slender triangular lobes about twice as long as wide.
In this male, the metaplical flange of the gonopod coxa ends in a rounded, projecting lobe.
