This spider is known from forests, rock cavities and caves in western Guinea.
The carapace has dark lateral marks as well as dark margins.
It has been found in both well-preserved forest and degraded patches, including beneath streamside rocks near Dalaba and in small roadcut holes near Maréla.
It was common in Sêbory cave, where it occupied small cavities in the walls.
Near Koumbaya, both domed and spherical webs were observed.
The observed spiders vibrated rapidly when disturbed.
One described male has an ochre-orange carapace with a brown triangular mark at the rear.
Its legs are ochre, with whitish femoral and tibial tips and dark rings near the ends and around the knees.
Its ochre-grey abdomen has a distinct black pattern on the back, sides and underside.
In females, the sternum beneath the front body varies in darkness and is sometimes almost black.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
