Finn's Weaver is a localized weaver of grasslands in northern India and the extreme southwest of Nepal.
Males are yellow with dark ear-coverts and strongly streaked upperparts. Females are duller than males.
It uses open grassland with scattered trees, including seasonally flooded grassland, and eats seeds. It builds colonial nests when breeding.
At Shuklaphanta in Nepal, nests are made from coarse grasses, usually oval, and supported by bare upper branches rather than hanging below them.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
