This spider is known from Aden, Yemen; round internal structures are visible through the female genital plate.
In the described male, whose colours may have faded slightly, only the rear of the upper front body is somewhat darker.
Simon’s 1890 report described the species as common inside houses in Aden; this is a historical record.
In the same male, the area below the eyes, sternum and legs are uniformly ochre-yellow.
Its abdomen is ochre-grey and retains a distinct dorsal pattern. Underneath are two pairs of dark lines, one near the front and another farther back.
The eye area of the same male is slightly raised, with a deep pit on the upper front body.
The female genital plate shows a pair of round internal structures through the cuticle.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
