The Predicted Antwren occurs mainly between the Purus and Madeira rivers in the western Brazilian Amazon; its western limit is provisional.
The adult female type specimen has a black crown with a white streak, a pale face and throat, and two white wingbars.
It moves through the canopy with mixed-species flocks while searching for insects. Recorded settings include sandy-soil woodland, tall terra firme forest, and flooded igapó along blackwater rivers.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
