The Crested Leaf-nosed Bat is known from northern and central Sulawesi. Its noseleaf and ears are described, but the fur colour is poorly known because the specimens were preserved.
It has large, triangular ears. Small lateral leaflets line the noseleaf, and the central crest is weak. Fur colour was not described in detail because the specimens were preserved.
The account suggests that it may roost in caves in groups and hunt insects in open spaces. These are presented as possibilities, not confirmed observations.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
