An African otter that searches for crabs and handles prey with its clawless forepaws.
Its forepaws have no claws and only reduced webbing. Long, sensitive whiskers help it find food in murky water.
Large molars crush crabs and lobsters, and it also eats fish, frogs and insects. It usually hunts alone.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
