The Moluccan Flycatcher is a small bird of wooded habitats and coastal scrub in the Moluccas. Males are grey and white; females have a pale rufous wash on the throat and breast.
It is about 14 cm long. Males are dark grey above, with a dark greenish crown, and white below. Females are similar but have a pale rufous wash on the throat and breast and a brownish tinge above.
It uses wooded places in the Moluccas, including second growth and coastal scrub, from sea level to about 150 m. It eats insects, is often seen in pairs, sometimes joins mixed-species flocks, and may forage in the canopy.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
